The Flowering Dwarf Red Powder Puff is an evergreen tropical tree that is native to Ecuador. The Powder Puff is named after its whimsical red and white flowers. Other interesting features are the flower buds which resemble raspberries and the leaves which close up at night or during drought. The Powder Puff grows more horizontally than vertically and new growth sprouts are reddish in color. Sporadic red and white Powder Puff flowers appear during summer. Great indoor bonsai.
