The green leaves of this grafted multi-branched, compact cultivar grow closely together and other lap one another like shingles on a roof, producing a dense lead cover on a sculptural, nearly spherical form. In fall, brilliant fiery red leaves create a dramatic show. Ideal bonsai tree specimen. Hardy and easy to grow, this delicate Maple will look great on a patio, deck or garden. Provide sun in order to show best colors both in early spring and late into the season. Deciduous. Keep outdoors.
- 14 years old, 14" x 16" x 21" tall.
- Outdoor bonsai tree grown and trained by Bonsai Boy.
- Potted in a 10" beige rectangle ceramic container. Suitable humidity/drip tray is recommended. To purchase add $13.95.
- May be shipped with mature, turning and transitioning foliage in late summer (August), this is a normal, annual process as the tree prepares for dormancy. May be shipped with no foliage during autumn and winter. Tree will emerge from dormancy and re-grow foliage in early Spring.
